At FS Construction Services we know that there is more than one way to approach a job, including grain storage. Sometimes we have to get creative and look for unique solutions to complex problems. Sometimes we have to go big and just see how many resources we can pile on. Other times we are looking for every way to keep costs down and for every piece of equipment that can be re-used or retrofitted. Every job is a different story and every client has a different set of needs. Our goal is always to find the right equipment and the right arrangement to set our clients up for success.
FSCS Can Help With All Your Grain Storage Needs
And of course, sometimes our job is all about providing the simple meat and potatoes tools in the most straightforward way possible. This was the case with a recent project. Nathan Koester and his team constructed a 48’ diameter, 10-ring tall grain bin with a 60.900 bushel capacity. We installed a horizontal power sweep in the new bin but also installed some additions to attach it to an existing drying bin. We built stairs with a safety rail to connect the two units as well as a Shivvers cross auger so the storage bin can be filled directly from the drying bin. When all was said and done, it may not have been the most elaborate project we’ve worked on, but it’s for sure going to get the job done, and at the end of the day that’s what we’re aiming to provide.
When it comes to grain system solutions, we have a wide array of different options for grain storage, grain drying or grain handling.
