In particular, we love a good building project that shows just how multi-purpose and customizable our buildings can be. This particular building project exemplifies that in a number of exciting ways.
Multi-Purpose Building with Office and Man-Cave
This 45’ x 112’ x 16’ 6” building was built on a foundation wall of 12” x 48” with a 6” concrete floor. The structure’s walls were lined and insulated with R-19 6” Batt insulation and the ceiling was filled with R-42 blown-in insulation. To allow for maximum interior light, the back wall of the building was fixed with four 7020 windows. The first floor of the building has been fitted for a bathroom and office area, while the second floor of the building has been built as a hangout/man-cave type of room. Coming off of that second-floor room we also built a cantilevered deck.
Knowing our client’s future intentions for their building, we were also able to add additional support to the trusses in the front of the building so the roof could be fitted for solar panels once the construction was complete. Speaking of future plans, we also framed off the interior of the building so the client can hang drywall at some point down the road.
