Over the past couple of months, we have highlighted our newest Sales Representative, Austin Francis. While Austin joined FS Construction Services as part of the building crew, he has since moved inside to work with the sales team. The experience that he has brought into this new position has been invaluable, as is his client-focused approach.
Austin’s Client-Focused Projects
Whenever possible, Austin tries to meet face-to-face with potential customers. Seeing the site of a new build or upgrade in person allows Austin to think through the customer’s needs in real time. Because of his time on the building crew, Austin can make quick, well-informed suggestions about the overall build and some of the more nuanced specifics.
Additionally, Austin takes his time to think through projects and provide client-focused recommendations. He shares considerations for future upgrades and ideas that help the client determine what they’ll need now, as well as what they could plan down the road.
Austin is quick to admit that our clients also have a hand in making this a smooth process. “We’re fortunate that many of our customers have an idea of what they want and even do research before we meet with them,” he says.
When talking further about the client-focused FS Construction Services team, he says, “Many clients have similar buildings that we have built for them in the past. So, they’re familiar with how we work, our construction and processes, and the value of our structures and work.”
For those clients who haven’t yet landed on exactly what they want, Austin will walk them through the process to help them determine what’s best for their needs. As Austin puts it, “Ultimately, it is the customer’s decision, but we would like them to be as informed as can be about what is possible with their structure.”
Austin is a Team Player
While Austin’s particular experience has made him a valuable addition to our team, perhaps his most important quality is his humility. When asked about his success, Austin’s instinct is to attribute it to the whole team.
“The client-focused service that our building crews provides really does generate a lot of compliments and a high level of satisfaction with our customers.”
Austin continues by commenting, “There is a true emphasis placed on attention to detail, work ethic, knowledge, and applying our experience to each new project. Our construction crews are truly second to none.”
