This month at FS Construction Services, we are excited to begin another one of our employee profiles. Over the next few weeks, we will be spending a little bit of time with Crew Foreman Lee Braun.
Lee has been working on the construction side with us for the past 21 years. He grew up right here in Red Bud, IL, went to Red Bud High School, and began working shortly after graduation. In his own words, “I’m a pretty basic guy.”
Lee’s Experience as a Crew Foreman
Though what Lee calls “basic,” we would call “dependable”, “hardworking”, and “trusted”.
Over the years, he has consistently provided excellent quality of work and is known for his tireless approach to his job as crew foreman. Lee has often spent his off hours at home on his sofa studying plans for new customer projects. This way, he’s comfortable going to the jobsite, with a plan of execution starting day one.
Though, to be fair, Lee also says that, “If I ain’t working, I’m working,” and regularly keeps himself busy with a variety of projects around the house.
Lee and his wife Amanda also have a daughter. But Lee welcomes the busyness of life. In fact, one of his favorite things about being a crew foreman with FS Construction Services is: “We are always busy! During my 20+ years, we have always been busy. We build quality buildings and deliver quality work, and that keeps us busy…not too busy that we can’t take off for deer season…but it keeps us busy.”
In case you didn’t catch it, when Lee does get away from work, his favorite thing to do is go deer hunting!
