Jon’s Dedication to Helping Clients with New Technology
While Jon has been with us for 25 years, his commitment to always learning and engaging with our clients has kept him young in many ways. Perhaps one of the most important of these ways is Jon’s ability to learn and teach new technology.
In Jon’s words, “From the farmer’s perspective, the technical equipment is becoming more high-tech all the time. I’m able to make a farmer’s equipment talk to his cell phone, or iPad, using apps and technology. Now he can know in seconds if he has an issue with his equipment as opposed to having to be on site 24/7.”
In an industry that often stretches generations back into family lines, the constant change and churn of technology could feel like a struggle that never ends. Thankfully, Jon has made it his business to introduce new technology in understandable and digestible ways.
Rather than finishing an installation and wishing our clients the best, Jon will ensure they receive all the troubleshooting and training they need to make it work. Because of Jon’s experience and his regular communication with manufacturers, he is able to bring order to something that could otherwise seem chaotic, and find greater efficiencies – and savings – for our customers in the process.
