This month, we are pleased to be continuing our most recent FS Construction Services Employee Profile on Crew Foreman Lee Braun.
Though Lee describes himself as a “pretty basic guy,” don’t let his humility give you the wrong impression. One of Lee’s greatest attributes is his willingness to work through a challenge until he can find a completely satisfactory solution.
What Lee Braun Enjoys About Being a Crew Foreman
Over the past 20-plus years, Lee has worked on a wide range of projects, including pole barns, storage buildings, horse barns, barndominiums, and others. A defining feature of these types of buildings is their vast customizability, meaning that no application is the same as the one that came before.
Rather than seeing this as a problem, Lee commits himself to working through every project until it fits our clients’ exact needs.
None of this would be possible, though, if it weren’t for the effortless communication that exists between our team in the office and our team in the field. This happens to be one of Lee’s favorite parts of the job.
“We’ve got a great team that works well together,” says Lee. “It is all about making sure the project is done and the client is happy.”
In fact, the morning we interviewed Lee, he had already been in contact with coworkers Austin and Jarret multiple times that day. “I’ve worked with Jarret for my whole career with FS Construction Services,” Lee says. “So we have a great understanding of how each other likes to work and what each other needs.”
And, really, that just about sums up Lee better than anything else could. His thoughtfulness and attention to his communication mean that he doesn’t have to doubt the support he has behind the scenes. He can just lock in and enjoy the challenges of the project in front of him.
