Innovative Grain Storage Solution in Marigold
This was particularly apparent in a recent project of ours, which involved an innovative grain storage solution. Nathan Koester and his team took on the task of constructing and connecting multiple pieces of storage and transfer equipment to ensure our client had a smooth, dependable grain setup.
They built a 30 foot in diameter, 12-ring tall grain bin to act as a surge tank for greater speed and efficiency. They connected a 100-foot 10” Sukup double run to fill the surge tank. A 60-foot double run was added to get the wet grain over to their drying bin. Additionally, they installed a receiving pit system with a capacity of 650 bushels for quick unloading.
This interconnected system of metal and wires may sound, and even look, complicated. But it provided our client with a trustworthy way to move their grain from one place to the next, keeping it dried and stored so their yield doesn’t spoil or spill.
