Employee Profile: Assistant Construction Foreman Damon Stapleton

This month, we are excited to get back to one of our favorite series here at FS Construction Services: the Employee Profile. We will take the next few months to highlight Assistant Construction Foreman Damon Stapleton.

All About Assistant Construction Foreman Damon

Damon has spent the last six-and-a-half years with us, but before that, he spent 30 years in residential construction.

A native of Red Bud, IL, Damon got his start at age 10, helping his uncle build an addition onto his house. Well, in his own words, he was more of a “gopher,” running tools and materials back and forth to his uncle. But he liked it enough that, after leaving the Air Force, he chose construction as a career. He hasn’t looked back since.

As he says, “I enjoy anything where I’m building something! I can step back at the end of the day and say, look at what I put together.”

Damon spent 30 years building decks, sunrooms, room additions, fences, and more before hearing from a friend that FS Construction was hiring. Since joining our crew, Damon has built several pole barns of all sizes and shapes.

Damon has a 26-year-old daughter who just received her master’s degree in Sports Psychology. And if you’re ever looking for him outside of work, it’s likely that you will find him fishing somewhere.
