Such was the case for a client of ours, who decided it was finally time to upgrade their steel building. In the end, the building needed a new metal roof and some extra TLC to stay in good working condition.
How a Metal Roof & Other Upgrades Will Make this Building Last
The first order of business was to re-roof the entire 60’ x 120’ structure with a Butlerib II metal roof. It is one of the strongest roof systems in the industry, with 1 ½” corrugation, factory-slotted holes that allow roof panels to expand and contract as needed with changes in weather, full side-lap corrugation for extra support, and more. It also has a UL Class 90 wind uplift rating.
In addition to the roof installation, our team also removed and replaced some of the building’s sidewall material and replaced the gutters with 7” box gutters and 4×5 downspouts.
The result is a building that went from living on borrowed time to having all the time in the world. And our client can now rest easy knowing that this is one problem they can put out of their mind.
